We're back!

An and I have settled our differences and brought back the site. You'll get a new site to enjoy each Friday remaining in the 2016 Summer Olympics; today's posting is below. Thanks and enjoy!

When a talking card isn't personal enough...

Looking for the perfect gift for that fan of William Shatner in your life? Your Daily Click brings you the chance to buy that person a personalized video message from Shatner or other celebrities, including many from "Lost."

Oh, and watch some of the video samples... Is it just me or are some people much more into this than others?

Enjoy.

Meet Major Inconvenience!

Whenever you're trying to buy one item in the express lane at the supermarket, he's there with 16...

When you're driving home, he's driving in front of you, e-mailing on his Blackberry...

As you stand in line at the post office, he's there, too... And he forgot to put a ZIP code on most of the half-dozen items he's mailing... And there's no return address... And he wants insurance, no wait, delivery confirmation, no wait, both... And can you show him what kind of stamps you have in right now?

It's Major Inconvenience! He won't stop until he's ruined your Saturday afternoon.

You already know Major Inconvenience and his Wooden Stick of Annoyance. Now's your turn to create your own superhero with Your Daily Click. Enjoy!

Ask and Ye Shall Receive

"If you're asking me as the President, would I understand reality, I do." - George W. Bush

I'm not sure I understand his response, but then I'm not sure if he understood the question.

As I understand it, today's Your Daily Click responds to some important questions. Understood? Enjoy.

Check yourself

Long gone are the days when you'd write a $4 check at Target for Gatorade and dental floss and then record the transaction in the check registry.

And now, long gone are the days when you need to log into three or four different banking Web sites to see how much money you have. Your Daily Click is a "refreshing" money-management system that's free. I've used it for the past two weeks and have enjoyed how easy they make it to see the whole picture of how much money you have. This is especially helpful if you have two or three bank accounts or two or three credit cards. Enjoy!

This may shock you

Remember when you were little and you would pretend that you were the mayor of a developing town and were responsible for fulfilling its growing energy needs while still keeping the citizens of the town from protesting the impact that your decisions had on the environment? Remember? Your Daily Click will help you reminisce. It's an addicting, educational game. That's perfect for a Monday! Enjoy.

WTF? (Volume 19)

Great photography can be more engaging than great video of the same situation. That's what makes today's Your Daily Click so compelling. The photos are beautiful, and they're presented in a way you've never seen before, guaranteed. The only problem, Captain Ahab, is that it's a photo shoot of a whale hunt. Killing defenseless animals? WTF? (What the Friday?)

Show your true colors

"Artists can color the sky red because they know it's blue. Those of us who aren't artists must color things the way they really are or people might think we're stupid." - Jules Feiffer

My grandparents told me of a time long ago when television shows were only shown in black and white. Do you think that this was because nobody had invented colors yet? Unfortunately, my hours of research on the Internet did not reveal the origin of colors. (Granted, I did get sidetracked by some pretty colors in a flashing banner ad.)

In any case, we can't take colors for granted. You never know when our resources might be used up and we are forced to return to a monochromatic world. The horror. Get to know your colors with today's Your Daily Click. Enjoy.

Flipped off

Some say Michael Phelps is a dolphin. There, there's your link between dolphins and the Olympics. That was easy, and so is Your Daily Click, a game called "Dolphin Olympics." Enjoy.

Wear politics on your sleeve (Super Tuesdays Vol. 2)

Who needs T-shirts promoting Barack Obama or John McCain when you could support CNN instead? Find your favorite headline from a CNN article, and Your Daily Click will turn you into a walking advertisement for the news site. Enjoy.

[Super Tuesdays is an occasional series that brings you a politics-related site on Tuesdays]

Covert criticism

Ahh, office life. We see these people more than we see our friends and family, it seems.

But just because we're comfortable telling our friends and family that they have something in their teeth or a noticeable growth on the side of their neck, that doesn't mean our coworkers get that same openness.

Wouldn't it be great if there were a way to anonymously tell someone how terrible or disgusting they are?

From the simple ("You seem to have missed a belt loop") to the gross ("You have a noticeable post-bathroom stain") to the smelly ("Please do not remove your shoes. Your feet tend to give off an aroma."), Your Daily Click will get that message across. Enjoy.

Oh, and, yes, I've tested it. It is indeed anonymous.

No country for old men

Bill Cosby. Sarah Palin's mom and dad. Fiberglass. The thong. What do these have in common? Well, other than the obvious, of course. They're all younger than John McCain. Your Daily Click has more details for you.

This blog isn't about politics, people. It's about clicking on links. Enjoy.

P.S. What the Friday returns next week with something that will make you say "WTF?!"

Play with yourself

Gee... These last few months without Your Daily Click sure have been lonely. Now it looks like things are returning to normal, but you can't just dive back into the pool! You have to wait at least 30 minutes or else you'll get a cramp and drown. And you have to stop and ask yourself, "After all of those months alone, am I really ready to return to a life of clicking daily?"

Fear not, loyal readers. If you are not completely ready to resume your daily clicking lifestyle, today's Your Daily Click is just for you and you alone. It's a game to play alone, except not. Enjoy.

A picture is worth a thousand words

Do you like to read but hate art? Or maybe you love art but hate to read?

Well, if you fall into either of those two categories, Your Daily Click is something that will give you mixed feelings. It pits your right brain against your left brain by giving you the chance to make art out of words. Now everyone's an artist ... or a writer.

Thanks to Tom for the Click, and enjoy.

P.S. The above piece of art is made from this very site! Click it to enlarge. Oh, and who knew we used the words "back" and "school" so much?

Reward if found

You know, this site is kind of like the family dog. You love to play with it, it's always there for you when you need it, and you don't need to feed it.

But in February of this year, that dog ran away. At first, you probably just assumed it would find its way back to you pretty quickly. "YDC knows how much we love it, honey, it will come back on its own."

After a few weeks, you papered the streets near your home with offers of a reward if it was returned to you safely. Months later, however, you've forgotten about it and moved on to another site.

Well, Your Daily Click has come limping back to you. It's wearing a shiny collar and has some new tricks it wants to show you. Today it's holding an exciting new game that makes science fun! But the question remains: Will you let it back into your home? Enjoy.
