Get rich quick

"So it's like all these influences came together and out came a product that I knew would be easy to use the way I liked to use a computer at my job at Hewlett Packard, which was to solve engineering problems, and occasionally to solve a puzzle, and also to play games." - Steve Wozniak

Crossword puzzles and Sudoku puzzles are wonderful. Not only are they fun to do, but to a person walking by your desk, it looks as if you are deep in thought and hard at work. And, when you finally fill in that last blank, the feeling of accomplishment is almost overwhelming.

But, this is not your average puzzle. So much so that the makers are offering a $2 million prize to the first person to complete it after it is released on July 28. Today's Your Daily Click gives you a chance to take a crack at a miniature version of the puzzle. Get to "work". Enjoy.

Poor man's big screen

"Movies are fun, but they're not a cure for cancer." - Warren Beatty

Sorry to burst the bubble of anyone counting on the latest Harry Potter flick to alleviate their metastatic pancreatic malignancy, but movies serve a much higher purpose in life... as long as you can afford a ticket. But, as any poor college student will be able to tell you, if you've got $1.00 and two hours to kill, then the dollar theater is for you.

However, if you've got $0.00 and a few spare minutes at work, then today's Your Daily Click is for you. A very modest rendition of a classic film that is sure to entertain you for as long as you can bear sitting through it. Enjoy.

I can has a YDC?

"After scolding one's cat one looks into its face and is seized by the ugly suspicion that it understood every word. And has filed it for reference." - Charlotte Gray

Dictionary.com defines "lolcat" as "No results found for lolcat." At first glance, this may seem like a useless bit of information, but on closer inspection, one comes to realize that lolcats are indeed undefinable. Any attempts to summarize the vastness of the lolcat inherently fall short. (Seriously though, a lolcat is just a picture of a cat with a humorous caption.)

Today's Your Daily Click combines pictures of all sorts of animals with bad grammar and spelling for your pleasure. The site is updated quite regularly so you can always current with the goings on in the world of lolcats. Enjoy.

WTF? (Volume 7)

I remember annoying my parents as we made the long, boring drives to far-off destinations each summer. One of my favorite strategies was to count as high as I could. I would try to change the way I said each number – to keep it interesting for my audience.

Well Your Daily Click brings you someone who has taken that idea and bastardized it. He's weird; you can count on it. So, I gotta ask, WTF? What the Friday? Enjoy.

Chip off the old block

"I think writer's block is simply the dread that you are going to write something horrible. But as a writer, I believe that if you sit down at the keys long enough, sooner or later something will come out." - Roy Blount, Jr.

Ahem.

"I think today's Your Daily Click is a challenging game that can make you yell horrible things at your computer screen. But as a bored individual, I believe that if you sit down at the keys long enough, sooner or later you'll get that block to drop." - An

Enjoy.

Everyone doodles on napkins at some point in there life, but what would happen if you asked some great writers to do that? The answer, as Your Daily Click will show you, is something a little more involved than a simple doodle. Enjoy.
