We're back!

An and I have settled our differences and brought back the site. You'll get a new site to enjoy each Friday remaining in the 2016 Summer Olympics; today's posting is below. Thanks and enjoy!

School some peeps
(15 Days of Clicks: Day 2)

You’ve all played Boggle, where you find words in seemingly random letters. Today’s Your Daily Click is a free online version (courtesy of my good buddy An) of Boggle where you battle other Bogglers to see who’s best. Enjoy.

You have dysentery
(15 Days of Clicks: Day 3)

Remember the good old days of computer games in elementary school? You didn’t need lightning-fast reflexes or an expensive console and four controllers to have fun. Well, when you think of old computer games and I say “inadequate grass,” “one of the oxen has died” or “attempt to ford the river,” what comes to mind? That’s right, Oregon Trail! Well, with Your Daily Click you can play online right through your browser — with no download — for free! You need Internet Explorer and Windows to play this game. (Sorry, Mac users. I looked and looked but there’s no version of this game for us yet.) Enjoy.

World beaters
(15 Days of Clicks: Day 4)

Here’s a way to make Carmen Sandiego jealous. Show off that you know where world cities are located. Test yourself against the clock or another player. It’s a nerdy geography game, but it’s still a lot of fun. If conquering the world is too much for you, select the U.S.-only version and show your skills by locating cities in the United States. When you become a Geosense guru, you can take on others. It’s Your Daily Click. Enjoy.

We're not gonna pay...
(15 Days of Clicks: Day 5)

Renting movies or a pair of bowling shoes is a good deal, I mean who actually wants to own a pair of used, sweaty, ugly shoes? But when it comes to where you lay your head at night, renting is often the only option for people. Enter Your Daily Click. It’s a very simple Web site, but it’s useful nonetheless. You enter in your street address and monthly rent, click “Analyze My Property,” and the thing shows you how your rent compares with others in similar areas and with similar properties. Enjoy.

I turn my camera on
(15 Days of Clicks: Day 6)

Happy Christmas, everyone. And welcome to the home stretch of 15 Days of Clicks. Lily sent me this site, and it's one I revisit often. It’s a daily photo blog by a Canadian. He’s an excellent photographer and the photos are beautiful. He posts a new one each day — anything from movie stars at the Toronto Film Festival to beautiful images or a new look at a familiar thing. It’s a great site for anyone, but if you’re a photography nut, leave your mouse on any image on his site for information/specs on the photo. Enjoy today's Your Daily Click.

Try this with your morning latte
(15 Days of Clicks: Day 7)

Newspapers are great, but there’s all that pain of subscribing to one or spending precious quarters on them — and when you do finally get it, your hands get covered in ink. I hate that. Or you could go online, but you miss something by not being able to see the front page. Well, check out Your Daily Click. It’s a link to the Newseum, where you can check out the front pages of more than 500 newspapers in 50 countries. Wanna know what’s going on in Minneapolis? Check out the Star Tribune’s front page. Sydney, Australia? Pick up a digital copy of the Sydney Morning Herald. Enjoy.

Covet thy neighbor’s house
(15 Days of Clicks: Day 8)

My dad sent me today's Your Daily Click. Neighbors have been fighting over who can have the best lawn or Christmas lights for years. Now they quarrel about much more than that. It is a cool site that lets you type in any address and see the value of the home there and the value of all the homes around it. Also, don’t miss the “Famous TV Homes” link on the home page where you’ll find shots and stats of some recognizable real estate. P.S. You need Firefox to enjoy this site. Enjoy.

Follow these rules
(15 Days of Clicks: Day 9)

Let me just start by saying that I love today’s site. I look at several blogs throughout the day, and today’s is one of the coolest that I have come across. It’s a very interesting look at several random things written on index cards. It's today's classic Your Daily Click. Enjoy.

Poster boys
(15 Days of Clicks: Day 10)

Today's continuation of the countdown of classic clicks (alliteration, anyone?) comes from Adam. Have you ever noticed that those inspirational posters on the walls of almost every office break room or high school classroom use the strangest things to try to inspire people? Like a zoned-out duck staring off into nothingness is supposed to motivate me to be a leader or not do drugs or be different. Well, now it’s your turn to be one of the geniuses behind those motivational/inspirational posters. It's Your Daily Click. Enjoy.

Book keeping
(15 Days of Clicks: Day 11)

It’s the age-old conundrum. You finish one book, but what should you read next? The overachievers have already created a book list and maybe even bought the next two or three books they want to read. But what about those of us who just finished a book we love and are thirsty for more? Your Daily Click is the answer. Enjoy

A gift from me to you

Here's an early present. If you don't like Saturday Night Live, it's OK. Here's proof that it's getting a lot better. Check it out. If you would rather have the link, here it is to today's special edition of Your Daily Click. Warning: explicit-ish lyrics.

Hold on!
(15 Days of Clicks: Day 12)

OK, you know it’s happened to you. You’ve got a problem with your cell phone bill or your computer crashed for the hundredth time this week. So you get on the phone with customer service only to wait for literally hours on hold before talking to a human. Well, today’s Your Daily Click is the answer. It’s an easy-to-use database of almost 500 companies with their 1-800 numbers and — here’s the best part — the “cheat code” to dial to get through to a human. This is one you’ll definitely want to bookmark. Enjoy.

They rule
(15 Days of Clicks: Day 13)

It’s amazing to think that everything you watch on TV, everything you eat and everything you buy is decided on by a few men (and sometimes women) sitting in a stuffy boardroom. Well, today’s Your Daily Click gives you a closer look. You can create custom maps (or load a popular one) that gives you directories of those who sit on the boards of directors at major companies. Pick a company and see its board of directors. Then, select one of the members and see how many other boards he or she sits on. It’s amazing to see how all of these major companies are interconnected. Enjoy. (You need Flash Player for this site).

Weight of the World:
(15 Days of Clicks: Day 14)

Daily Clicker Lily Wang submitted today's Your Daily Click a while ago, and it's one of the more interesting ones. She called it a great one for the "politically conscious Daily Clickers." It's a new view of the world that takes each country and resizes it based on certain characteristics, like education, population and more. There are some really telling facts there, like look at how small Africa becomes when sized based on wealth. Enjoy.

Anyone's an aspiring artist
(15 Days of Clicks: Day 15)

There are just 15 weekdays until the New Year, so I'm going to count down the Top 15 classic Your Daily Clicks. Today's Your Daily Click is a fun, artsy one that you're sure to love. Check it out and just please don't make a mess. Enjoy.

Let it snow

'Tis the season. The snow is on the ground, and the chill is in the air. Nothing reminds me of the holidays like snow and advent calendars. And today's Your Daily Click combines the two into a fun-filled game. But this isn't just for gamers, it's for anyone. If you can play Mario, you can play Nintendo's free game "Mission in Snowdriftland." Enjoy.
